Desis/Sex/Contraception

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

what do ur family use? or is there some kind of infertility problem within the family (just kidding :p)…

methods of birth control should be discussed…cuz if both partners are clueless…that wont be very good.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

Oh God that was a depressing book. :teary1:

I felt down for 3 months after reading it. The end of it all was so unjust!!!

I’ve never read another Thomas Hardy book ever since. That one was just too upsetting.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

wow, I finally found some1 who’s actually read this book. we had to read it for GCSE English Lit…and watch the film too. anyone else I mention this book to they havent heard of it. Learnado’s in the film right? have u seen it? there’s 2 differnt versions.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

I saw a bit of the film. It loses a lot of the effect frankly. A lot of the magic is that Hardy's language, whilst complicated is extremely visual and you get a stronger image in your mind than mere film can convey.

BUKWAAS KI GROUND MIEN ... BUKWAAS HI BUKWAAS HAI

BUKWAAS KE TORNADO MIEN ... BUKWAAS HI BUKWAAS HAI inspired by IRTIQA 3

lol

yesh i m very pendoo to use condom the very first night .. WAT A HASSLE !! and just to let u know only in 78% cases pills/condoms work so out of 100 of yall using both, 22 will still gona have BACHEYs :) so face it

p/s: i bet most of ya big mouths are the most desp ones to have kids.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

ur wrong…most contraceptives are 98% or more reliable…condoms as well as pills.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

beta u dono shiz so think twice b4 u break ur mouth on me once more . get ur facts straight !

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

Uhm its hard to say who's right actually. Impulse is a pharmacy student so she wud have learned it, however I've also read that condoms are really not as effective as they advertise it to be. I think it's all advrtisement, the figure of effectiveness is probably closer to what bombastic says.... and anyway how wu du kno?

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

You think thats really an option? REALISTICALLY? Orgasming outside the woman takes the emotional and fun factor out of the whole experience, decreasing pleasure for both partners. Couples would usually wish to keep ‘going’ upon orgasm so withrawing suddenly would be a major dissapointment and frustrating for both. Theres also no guarantee some sperm won’t be present in the pre-ejaculate nor that the guy won’t ejaculate beforehand, made worse by the fact that the guy is likely to be more anxious about withdrawing at the right time.

Its sucess rate is far lower than the Pill/condoms etc.

Futhermore, ejaculating outside is hardly a clean way to end sex.

Be sure to have spare bedsheets handy :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

You know, Mr Bombastic is ALMOST right. Not quite. Condoms are anywheere between 85% -98% effective at preventing preganancies, making them less likely to prevent having a child than the IUD or pills , etc.

http://www.fwhc.org/birth-control/condom.htm

Male condoms are the only currently available effective and reversible birth control method for men. Male condoms are 85-98% effective.

77% and 85% are just 8% apart.

However, he’s wrong about the pil. It’s 92% to 99.7% effective.

http://www.fwhc.org/birth-control/thepill.htm
The Pill is 92-99.7% effective as birth control. It does not protect against reproductive tract infections, including HIV/AIDS.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

If you want to use efficacy as a measure, and not think about side-effects, then that is your perogative. When you take a medication that the doctor has perscribed you, and the ailment is a slight one, and the side effects are like "vomiting, diarrhea, possible brain damage, liver disfunction..."

Are you really gonna take that medicine?

IMHO, as a female, I'd be more concerned about side effects. Especially if the pill's effects vary female to female...some females I know dont have a problem with it. Some have massive problems.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

i said wat i learnt during my med projects, maddy i realy wish not to chek into thos links, one yr of H.O.S.A n next INTERN yr gona do good for me :), but just wanted to make sure IS THAT WORLD WIDE % or just in USA ?

p/s: m so damm sure most of u dont even know the diff between latex n lamb-skin and poly----- cant remember condoms.

Some people are said to have an acquired sense of humour. Some people just havn’t acquired.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

Polyurethane

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

shut up u twit. no1 knows more about them than Pharmacists…cuz we have to learn about all the types…which one is most reliable …how exactly it works…and we are the ones who supply all the forms of contraception…so u shut ur mouth  and get ur damn facts straight.

if you’re talking from experience that its only 78% reliable…you dont know how to use them properly.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

ur so big headed.

for ur information…doctors many times prescribe the wrong medication…they dont know much about medicines.

this one woman had a rash and went to the doctor…the doctor prescribed a drug for her…she came to our pharmacy and the pharmacist went to her and had to query something about the prescription. the woman explained to her that she had a rash…and guess wot was written on the prescription? a medicine for when u have worms in ur stools. that shows exactly the intelligence level of doctors  and if the pharmacist didnt notice …the poor woman wouldve been taken medication for something she didnt even have.

so when it comes to drugs/contraception etc…pharmacists know more than doctors…if that wasnt the case…there would be no need for pharmacists…we often get asked by doctors for the best thing to prescribe etc.

and its not nice to put other people down. I may know more about some things than the people of GS…but I never put them down or say to them “I bet u dont know this and u dont know that”…its just plain stupid saying that to people…because thats not the thier field of study. they may know more about something that u dont…something which u have no clue about…so get ur nose back to the ground please.

ps. u should never put any country down…cuz they may have something which we cant even dream about…

and for ur information…the country that has the biggest market for drugs …is JAPAN…no1 is anywhere as close to how far ahead they are. neither UK and nor America.

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

thank you ! lol .. i always forget that one

Re: Desis/Sex/Contraception

Only an extra large balloon and duck tape would work for me. :rotfl:

On a serious note these should do the job nicely.
