So non desis are also racists, but they are not very direct about it and are aware of what they say INFRONT OF YOU YEAH. These racist desis you are talking about, they dont say that stuff directly to others do they? No they dont. They say such things when they are among other desis (and no i am not saying that its a good thing to do). Just like the kalay do when they are only with kalay and the goray with goray.
But because you are exposed to desis more, you think its only us who are evil and bad.

Do you actually expect, that a gora will say to you directly that you smell like curry or that you are a taliban They probably do so when you are not around. (since we love to make generalizations about our own people, why not make them about others too.)

Stop having this misconception that ‘others’ are very distinguished and civilized and that your own people are the root to all evil.

Really? really? What did I say that others didn’t say here? This was supposed to be a lighthearted discussion! Didn’t you read the prime example of my own mother that I posted earlier? It’s the innocent type of racism desis have, it’s not the kind of racism blacks have towards whites or whites have towards black in the US. It’s the kind of racism/prejudice/whatever that doesn’t lead to hate crimes. Others have said worse things in this thread but you decided to single me out and attack me! Wow! When did I say non desis are NOT racist?

You know what they say assumption is the mother of all fu**ups. You only decided to single me out because you know I how i feel about religion. You decided to put me on the spot because I said I don’t like desi food in one of my threads! When did I EVER say I hate desis or anyone? I am the one talking about human rights here most of the time. I have not insulted anybody here yet you found a mediocre reason to insult me.

Shame on you! This is the reason why people like me feel that some of you have little to no tolerance towards people that disagree with parts of the desi culture or Islam. Had somebody else created this thread, you wouldn’t assume the things you have assumed about me! Next time please don’t pick something so irrelevant to come back at me. Whatever it is that you have assumed about me, please bring that to the table instead of insulting me in a random thread.
