In the US, how do Desis and Hispanic people typically get on?
We are brown, they are (mostly) brown (small pure European percentage in Mexico etc but I’d imagine they are the set that holds power)…is there a common brown-alliance or understanding?
I think religion will play a role [catholics vs. muslims] though muslims these days get along with catholics well in the US compared to protestant groups like evangelists.
I don’t know what does your brown comment mean? The hispanic culture [women] are flashy why is why many non-hispanics watch their programs as well!
When I meet mexicans or hispanics and get a chance to be engaged in a conversation, after the normal chit chat or weather, prices or other, I try to say this: Dega Sulamente Ayondos Allah - e muhammad messanjero e profeta de Allah

From here, it looks as if Hispanic people are unjustly treated there. There was a documentary on last night on BBC4 called "United Gates of America"-abt californian communities and citizens who isolate themselves off tio avoid interaction with Hispanics AND ppl who patrol the border trying to keep Mexicans out.
Insightful. One can only hope they are not typical. Although watching the O'Reilly Factor often on Fox as I do, it seems that the US media is overtly anti Hispanic.
We get FOX. CNBC, Bloomberg and a few other US channels here. Fox is real time, ie we get the whole day broadcasts, so its pretty useful. CNN of course too.
