chanda…first of all…never assume that another muslimah does not read the quran. that is one of the greatest sin you can commit. just because you do, doesn’t mean you have to shove your religion and how many times you pray in a day in everyone’s face. that is something that should be kept between you and Allah. because if you’re pretending you’re better than everyone else just because you have read a few salahs, then trust me, those salahs are negated.
i’m not marketing my sins. i never said i am. you’re the one who claimed you are like the prophet, for the firaoons here. firaoon was a sinner, and he was prideful, and hence did not admit his misdeeds. admitting that i have faults is the first step to fixing those faults, and the admission and the path to fixing is between me and my God…and i certainly do not need to advertise it all over some internet site in front of people i don’t even know.
this is a cafe thread, and i’m in a non-argumental mood right now. so i’m gonna keep it at this for now.
oh and next time, don’t expect a thanks for a dua. that’s so selfish
