just wondering do the designers like HSY, Karma, Deepak Perwani, Mehdi, Maria.B etc have sales (esp on their bridal) in Pakistan ???
The way we get lots of designer stuff at half price or so during sales here…

I know MARIA B does, when I was there, she had some lenghas a few years back (3 yrs plus i'd say) which she was selling at a discounted price, about 80,000 they were. They were lovely but not my style xxx

That's not true. They have sales at the end of every season at Prada, Gucci, Armani, etc. I don't know about Pakistani designers though...I've always had to pay full price.

With designers in the west they make different designs every season and once they come up with new stuff the discontinue the old ones. With our designers nothing is ever discontinued it seems.

Even if they have sales in Pakistan, they don't advertise them enough. Atleast I haven't heard about one in Karachi. The collections launch with a bang but I haven't heard about sales.
A few months back some designers had a big charity sale in Lahore, I think. Pieces flew off the shelves within hours. I read about it in the newspaper.

MARIA B does. my SIL went to pakistan and she purchased so many Maria B clothes, and paid less than 75% of its original price. and they are really cool........especially her lawn range. materal is sooooooo good and hard to find anywhere else
most of cousins do as well. they dont purchase full price from Maria B as they think its waste of money.

i know that nomi has insider sales at the end of october each year. they are on certain items in his collection they usually are 30% off and open to his friends/family. I know this only cause my cousin's husbands brother in law is his best friend lol

at the end of small eid designers have sales on the pret-a-porter (ready-to-wear) collection, you will see it all over mm alam road (not well advertised though). designers do not have sales on couture (made to order) clothing; as the name suggests these are made to order hence they do not have excess stock to get rid of.

uhhhh... no, its meethi eid, the one that comes right after ramadan, bakra eid is right after hajj.

i think she does little bit of advertisement. my cousins find out from their friends or universities.
last year i went to pak in before eid (in september) and she did had sale on. i dont really know usually my cousins tell us
