only 2 months are left in my wedding so I have to decide my lehnga asap but I’m all confused which lehnga should i buy? t has to be a designer lehnga or should I go for readymade lehnga? the thing about designer lehnga is that I dont have heart to let the designer do everything on their own & at the final day they just show me that ur lehnga is done.. cuz i have fears like..what if i don’t like the lehnga after completion??? what if i dont like its style, its color, its work etc.. so after considering this I decided to go for a readymade stuff so won’t have any risk.. but here again many times the ready made stuff is out dated & same repetition of style & color, not sure about the material too, whereas designer lehngas are always a fresh design or have a new unique color combination… so i’m all confused if i should close my eyes & go for a designer stuff for getting new style & unique color combo or should stick to readymade lehnga so that wont have headache, stress & suspense lol.
also i’m extremely choozy in everything.. it also happened me on my nikkah that I liked one dress in boutique & ordered it, but after a week when the tailor showed me its sleeves sample I didnot like it atall & i rush to the market just a day before the nikkah & bought a ready made suit ,stitch it in one night, bought new matching shoes & bag & everything..but on the last night before the nikkah when the other boutique dress came, i liked it more then the readymade stuff .. it had better quality of material & had new style of work which was quite in those days..so i wore the boutique dress on my nikkah, but that was nikkah’s outfit..& i kept the other outfit for Jahez stuff.. but surely cannot do this for bridal lehnga though… so really confused.. what do u guys suggest??also i’ll go to Pakistan before 2 months of my wedding so it that enough time for making a new lehnga?? plz plz plz HELP ME OUT!!!

I doubt any designer would be able to make you a from scratch lengha in two months... Even if you don't use a designer, it still takes atleast 3 months to get the lengha made from scratch. I guess your best bet will be ready made.
Re: Designer Lehnga or Readymade lehnga?? Confused!!plz help
since you're so particular about things, you should probably get one made from scratch, according to your taste and preference. that way you'll be able to choose the kaam and style as you wish and hopefully end up with something you love.
maybe use a designer for some jaheyz outfits so you can get a bit more experience in the "designer process" and figure out which ones you trust and can work with, and the whole thing isn't so stressful if the end product isn't as you visualized, since its not your wedding dress.

im sure u can easily get a bridal dress within 2 months from a designer. i got mine from karma in a month, nomi ansari was also going to do it in a month and if u go to the Designers in KHI, they will get it done for you in a month from any of the designers they have, so im sure u can get it done in 2 months time. still u should figure it out asap. and i say go for a designer outfit, they really are very different from what u see in boutiques in pakistan.

what r the new trends in fashion for lehngas? i’m thinking of having 2 legged loose lehnga for my walima day (as it was worn by Rabiya omar wedding), but dont know it it will suit me or not since i’m heavy+wide frm hip area, so any idea whether i should choose long shirt or short shirt/1 legged sharara etc??? plzzzzzz HELP!!!
If u're "hip-heavy" wear a shirt that's slightly below u're hips and wear it with a classic gharara. Choose a lighter color for the top and darker contrasting color for the bottom.. this will balance out u're body and look pretty too! Don't have too much kaam on the gharara keep most of the kaam on the dupatta and shirt!
