I need to get a medium heavy formal outfit made for a wedding and I am looking for designers who make it in that budget. Please list the names of designers who can accommodate me and are also good with communication.

Not sure about designers, but from Karachi you can get it made from samson boutique, I think they have a branch at Zamzama by the same name. Or is it rim jhims. Someone else might chime in, since I can't remember the Zamzama branch's name. Samson made a replica blouse for my karma sari since I needed another one and they did a very good job.

Try Sania makatiya. Maybe her prices won't be as high. I'm not even sure how much designers are charging nowadays for formals, but in 2009 I was quoted over 40k for formals.

try Maria b - I got a mehndi formal for 45 k last year
teena by hina butt and asifa & nabeel also have formals in that range. I bought the former from MM alam branch lahore and the latter two from PFDC karachi.
Chinyere & Zahra Ahmed also have heavy formals in that range. Although not a big fan of Zahra Ahmed.
Just mentioning the ones i have experience with :)
And btw, if you are in to non-designer stuff, You can find some good deals at dupatta gali, Liberty & Paposh, Karachi.

Roughly 70-80k, starting though you can get very light formals in the 40-65k range too but they are so light to not be worth it. 80-120 should get you a good formal with Kaam on the dupatta too.

I was out shopping in Karachi yesterday and went to a couple of studios in Zamzama. Mina Hasan had formals in 50,000 range, including another designer by the name of Waseem Noor:

I purchased a dress from waseem noors boutique a few months back for 30k in forum mall karachi. it is the most beautiful jora ever. majestic green with the perfect most unique blend of kaam and embroidery on it. and a deep red duppatta with the prettiest border ever. i wore it again a few days back to this eid party and everyone loved it.
theres this other boutique as well in forum mall on the same floor as waseem noors. feathers boutique i think. they had a really decent collection of designer wear too. ranging from 25k onwards. the max price i saw was 80k. but most of the joras were beautiful.

I did check Waseem noor briefly but the length of his ready made outfits was too much for me. Will check out Mina Hassan but feel her formals in that range would be very light.

I think you might be able to get a decent formal from Asifa and Nabeel. Nabeel is pretty nice and easy going to speak to and he almost always ends up giving you more work on the outfit than he originally agreed on within the price range you give him.
Karma also has surprisingly low prices esp if you go there and work with them to get a formal made but its kind of played out by now I feel.
Also try Aisha Khadeeja, I believe they are in the Lahore Cantt area so if you’re in lahore it would be easy to go check them out.
