i would narrow down desi wives to 3 categories:
- totally suppressed, have no option but to abide by the law of the head of the house
- Totally submissive, Hubby is the ultimate. She does everything for him and the kids from cooking to ironing to washing etc. All on her own will, by the way
- The outgoing type, who give a damn about everyone and have hubbies who are more ‘jorru ka ghulam’ type
Like Niksik said, we cant generalize them all, every one has different experiences. Overall, i think desi wives mostly prove to be great wives and a supportive helping hand!
