Desi VS Gora households

There is quite a difference between how Pakistanis keep their houses & how goras or people abroad do so. Changes are mostly like .. there is a dishwasher there, many houses have the aata goondhnay wali machine, people usually drink water from the tap while here its either boiled or filtered first, washing machines are operated differently, spices used in food are slightly different etc.

Any idea what more changes should i expect in the household there as compared to how its done & kept here?

and oh you'd have to get used to living in smaller homes and less number of washrooms/toilets. On the bright side no loadshedding. :)

I think the main thing that people found difficult is over here its more the womans job to handle things like groceries and going out to get them where as in pakistan men do that.

Every single chore you will have to do yourself but things are made easier with dishwashers and washer/dryers.

Oh and someone will come and clean your windows for you.

ALso get involved in gardening if you will have a garden :)

LOL . Lota in the bathroom is a must for desi homes. I have yet to see once desi home where they do not have any kind of bottom washing utensil. There are many variations but they would have something to take care of this desi need. :D
