Embroidery.

I don’t know about other countries but in this country embroidery is definitely nowhere near as common as it is in desi countries. I remember in school a classmate of mine even asked in the Home Economics class “Miss, what’s embroidery?” :smack:

Any tshirt/jean/bag etc with a tiny little piece of embroidery on it is so darn expensive as if it’s a super special creation.

I would like to see more women embracing longer shirts rather than having their butt out all of the time.

Remember the harem pants? A total ripoff of a shalwar! And kurtas or "tunics" are def. in, especially when Mariah Carey wore it in her video.

I think Harem pants are just traditional Turkish pants, and I find them slightly different from our regular desi shalwar.

^I think it's nice to take just one or two elements from it.. I like the ivory and gold colours and the tikkas.. Am seeing quite a few english girls wearing them now as well, am sure tikkas will definitely cross over in the future..
