They do adopt. First it was children of some family member / relatives and lately, there is a trend for adapting children outside family. I personally know 2-3 cases from rural Sindh, who adapted children outside family.

I think it’s a still very much a taboo for young perfectly fertile couple to adopt instead having their own biological child.
