Where does one get regular shalwar kameez outfits that you’d wear, say to a small party or gathering? Like $30-60 an outfit kinda deal?

Niksik idk abt where ua re but here, 30-60 can get u ..uhm..crap. Unless u go for unstitched but then pay an arm and a leg for the stitching alone =//

Yes, I went through many website and the cheapest good stuff costs $60-$80 which I feel is too expensive for that kind of wear. The best bet is for someone to have it stitched back home and have it sent to you. But what if you don't have anyone?

Salwar Kameez, Printed Georgette Sarees, Kurta and Punjabi Suits/Dresses for Indian n Pakistani Bridal Women I thought this site was reasonable. Utsav does that stiching w/ fabric thing and their cost is like $20 or $30 but their shipping is expensive. I don’t usually like Indian stiched shalwar kameez, I figure they are better at Lehnga/Sari type sutff. If you go to Pk find a good tailor, and then you can have an ongoing relationship and get stuff mailed etc…

on a seperate note ladies, please be careful who u make orders from especially from free lancers, i have noticed certain people (on this forum) claim to be this and that. at the end of the day it’s our hard earned money an we should spend it how we wish. and no one has the right of making us feel guilty on how we spend it and with whom.

Finally, someone who doesn't say oh $200 how reasonable!! Find ladies who sell through their homes on a regular basis or those who sell extra clothes after trips from Pakistan. Even I had some suits for sale in that price range.

$30-60 an outfit was my range when I was ordering my dresses but I did not find anyone who was willing to work in that range. Not even ladies who sell through their homes on a regular basis even in Pakistan! Henna Mehndi sounds reasonable enough and I do like some of their dresses but I think their shipping to Pakistan will be high.
@Angel Wings, do you have dresses in the said price range like $30-60 an outfit?

But guess what, I ran into a Pakistani young lady at a party the other day and she was wearing really lovely clothes, so we got talking and I found out that she has started a home based business for casual and semi party wear outfits. She sows herself and the outfit she was wearing looked amazing. So I will be paying her a visit in a few days to see what kind of material she has and her charges. Will update later.

I've orderd from gift2east.. I wouldn't order form them for like a wedding but for idhar udhar they are really good. :)

if your in pakistan then why would you wanna order from other countries? after all, all these clothes come from pakistan.
