Who’s seen this show? It just started couple of weeks ago on SKY Living.

Who agrees or disagrees with the way they portray themselves?

I like some aspects of the show and the fact that there’s some sort of ‘reality’ show on British Asians, and I have to admit it’s pretty funny, but a line needs to drawn somewhere on how they behave, especially that Owais.

Thoughts?

lol at first i hated this show but tried to watch the first episode just so i could cringe at it.

But now as the episodes are going on, im beginning to like it more and more.

I dislike Rita though, she annoys me so much

i feel like it needs a really good story line though than your standard girl meets boy, they go out, one of them cheated, friends get involved, malarkey going on nowadays with MIC and probably TOWIE (dont watch it towie tho).

That Yasmin-Owais story is sooooo overexaggerated. It literally arguing over nothing! idgi

Is Owais meant to be the eye candy :confused: He looks like a 40 yr-old hanging around a load of 20 somethings..

Haven’t watched the last couple of episodes though.. need to catch up on it..

He’s 35. and yeah I think Yasmin pointed that out that he hangs around with people half his age and this was another part of their ‘argument’

So Desi Rascals is back with season 2...

There is nothing "desi" about it apart from the weddings..

^What do you mean? To me they do seem like normal desi girls and guys here in London, though of course glammed up and playing up for the show a bit which you'd expect..

I like that they brought in Jasmin for this season but don't think they should make a habit of scooping up whatever desis they can find from other reality shows.. Her profile is much higher but the other choices make the director look a bit desperate imo

I wasn't into it much to start with but really liked the last couple of episodes from last season, especially with with Mo + Jo (Jo's dad tearing up when he heard about Mo growing up without a dad around had me as well :()
