i find a few really worth watching, and others, really not worth the time @ all…one of the prog’s that i do like is “Bollywood Blvd.”
what bout Darshan Sahota’s “Eye on Asia”??
and Jaffry’s prog. on the wknd (i alwayz forget the name of the show)?
as for pakistani t.v. programs, i’ve only seen “Dil Dil Pakistan” on the wknds…i think that prog is decent as well…
anyone seen the new wknd show “Ishtyle”?? i think it’s supposed to be one on desi’s in North America…haven’t seen it yet (cuz i’m working on the wknds)…would like to hear from the ppl who’ve seen it though…
i have to hand it to these ppl, that they are atleast making an effort to not forget their culture, and create more awareness in the general public.

What desi channels do you get there? I don't know any programmes that you've mentioned. Over here we get Zee TV and they've just introduced Sony TV and B4U as well. The UK ppl have the same Zee as us. Most of the programmes are Indian soapies, otherwise I reckon * Upbeat * is good and then they play 1 (only 1) Pakistani drama a week, at the moment it's * Tum Hi To Ho *.
Well.. in my opinion bollywood blvd. sux !!! that darshan sahota progs. a lil better but then they've got all those jewellry stuff in there n other boring stuff like immigration n horoscope..overall its pretty good .... n well theres this other prob. on channel 81 around 9am-10am....that ones MUCH BETTER than that sahota n that bollywood blvd.. oh yeh n that dil dil pakistans a really nice prog.....bout that ISHTYLE.. it was on last sat/sun but missed it !!! usually coz i dont wake up that early on the weekends... n Jaffry prog. n that Aunty Nasreens progs. not even worth watching..all they've got is some really old songs n advertises....

i don't like Sahota's prog, or Jaffry's for that matter...i think BB is quiet good compared to 'em...as for Aunty Nasreen ?? have no idea what's that about...never seen it...what time/what day and what channel??

I agree !! I dont like the sahota program either - Darshan is the only one talking (he makes me laugh) and all arvinder does is fold her hands on her knees and give a big smile

HEY !!! DONT diss that dil dil pakistan !!! Aunty Nasreen’s progs. called Dharti Sohni Pakistan.. n all it has got in that progs. commercials… indian movie ads… n a few really old no good pakistani songs.. n yeh that prog. is filled with advertises !!! and some immigration stuff…
