desi parlours in NY/NJ

i am moving to pakistan for 6-8 months

one of my friend advice me that i should do a beautian course in karahi and when i come back then i can work at a parlour or open my own parlour . she told me many girls are doing this these days.

so i was just wondering how much does a beautian makes working in a desi parlour in NY/ NJ

taking beautian classes in karachi, is it worth it ? is it recognise in usa?

any chances to work at other place rather then desi parlours

Hows about doing a mendhi course/bridal prep course instead or just a beauticans course??

Depending on where you live, demand/supply, and whether you're any good...yeah you can make some pretty good money. If you do it right. With some level of professionalism. Like invest in a good parlor shop. No one wants to pay for highlights in a roach-infested khancha in Jackson heights.

You still need your beautician lisense to open up a beauty shop in NJ/NY.

There is a high demand for skills like threading, facials, asian style of makeup etc so you would have no time findind a job.

But would probably need to take a beautian course here. Part time it's about 4-6 months.
