I know this is bad but what I do is wear my boots until I get to the door of the banquet hall. Someone will drop the ladies off at the door and I just change into my pretty shoes right there.

no shame Reha. Not only do I need those warm shoes but I need those socks till the very last minute!!! SNOW SUCKS!!!
