Here I want to discuss many myths and if there is any evidence or has anyone experienced it to be true or false. A lot of this stuff is getting scientific proof now like the benefits of turmeric. I was discussing with @Hakuna_Matata and he mentioned garam taseer of siri paya and meat he ate so the culture here does not have the garam thandi taseer. A hindu friend of mine said meat eaters are more aggressive and prone to anger. My young friend @LP mentioned concerns of getting sick by exposure to cold temperatures during camping. I remember sleeping i -4C in my tent and shivering uncontrollably but didn’t really get sick. Hypothermia is a different story. When we had colds back home we were told stay away from drinking cold stuff, here they ask you to eat ice cream and wipe you down with a cold moist towel.
What are your myths and experiences or any tona totkas???

I heard stuff about jinns and bhoots getting attracted to women who leave their hair open at night and walk under treas and stuff, I saw scores of goris on camping trips leaving more than hair open and sleeping and walking in wilderness and only saw warning signs for bears and wolves and not bhoots or churails..lol
lol, yes it’s actually true according to science.. siri paye have more calories, which produce more heat in human body… and that’s why my eyes and ears were burning for more than 3 days..
btw, they’re several myths/stuff that science cant prove.. here are some with/off topic..
Sakta: Science dont believe or prove that human body sometimes unable to move/stuck/freezes, so it cant even open their eyes while sleeping or in a mid-sleep..

Acupuncture: Science cant prove that how this Chinese procedure can make body and muscles more stable and powerful..
Cursing & Nazar lagna: Science literally dont believe on it, proving is far away…
Repitition Of Time: Science cant prove why human says that “It happened to me before” or “I’ve seen same scene before in my life” etc..
Jin/Bhoot: Science dont know if they exists or no..
Existance Of Universe: Science dont know how this whole universe came into being.. Though some say through “Big Bang Theory” but dont know how it happened..
By that argument all foods provide calories so they should all have garam taseer, ice cream and milk shakes have loads of calories. Shock is a very well known phenomenon, acupuncture, homeopathy, schaumans etc are not accepted as science. Why do Jinns and bhoots go after brown women, I saw so many goris roaming around in the dark under massive trees and no bhoot came after them, why? Science still has a long way to go but we still can prove that certain things don’t hold true. BTW I love Siri Paya.
Also if you ingest some bacterias your body creates heat to kill the little buggers off so my guess is that you ingested bacteria, many vendors don’t take care of hygiene and proper food handling.
So it means Jinns-bhoots like Brownies lol kidding… I heard that too… but it’s just a myth

btw, I do believe in garam-thanDi taseer.. I was just saying that Science/Doctors says like that… and you know whenever I drink **Kachi Lassi, **I feel cool inside..
P.S: what are you views on Milk?? what is it’s taseer?? and and and what happens if we drink cool OR warm milk??
When I suck on an ice cube I feel thandak also..lol..milk will temporarily coat the lining of intestines so you feel better temporarily. dairy in moderation is good source of nutrition. Yogurt has probiotics so helps in improving digestion and is easier to digest. We need to maintain the PH balance in our diets and most desi foods are acidic, most vegetables and fruits are alkaline so we really need to eat more of those to avoid kidney problems, gout etc. So eat more salads. Proteins are hard to digest and body needs to expend a lot of energy to digest them so that maybe the reason some people feel the heat but that will not get you sick, you probably ingested bacteria with bazzari food. Just follow balanced diet and excercise 90 mins a day.
