looks like you really really wana be friends with your friend's hubby, why did you ask the question in first place? :)
My best friends husband is a really cool guy, I can chat easily with him and he is fun to be around, but we don't talk on our own or spend time together without my friend there, I think that wouldn't be something I would be comfortable. There are boundries - it can be a delicate balance and unfortunately as a woman you have to be careful because there are enough people out there that might misinterpret your friendship.
I do the same thing. There is a kind of mutual respect there.
