Just wanted to ask kay if you like instrumental music?
Right now i am just listening to this instrumental song called Kuch na kaho from 90’s hit movie 1942 a love story and i am thinking that instrumental music can be effective and soothing as singing if done nicely. What do you say?

I have tried to listen to instrumental but since it is not in our tradition I have found, instinctively, myself thinking of the verses that go with the music. I listen more to the words then the music which to me is a teeny bit distracting but is necessary to provide a lift to the songs. I have listened to some instrumentals and remembered the sond but could remember the words and that makes me more frustrated.
