What do you guys think of this? I am on my way to becoming a personal trainer…the problem is desi food although you can eat grilled must we put so much oil in salan’s? Say you make alou gosht honestly how much protein are you really getting out of that?? Idk was just curious as to what you guys think, because some guys who dont work out might be intimadated by the whole idea…
Desi girls…no scratch that, any girl with a 6 pack IMO is kinda gross. Flat tummy :k:
As for desi food, you can always do a caloric breakdown of all the ingredients that go into it, minus the spices (unless they do contain calories and no one told me shock and horror) But realistically you can’t expect to get all your carb requirments and all your protein requirments from 1 desi meal.
I think healthy desi cooking can be done beautifully. When my mom makes aloo gosht, I literally just take some botiyan and eat them with a knife and fork.
Its not easy for a girl to get one...I thought it looked gorgeous on Bipasha Basu in Dhoom 2....Yea ghar k khana is another story but like if u eat out...all the oil they put in desi food like nihari, haleem -- they do it to preserve it but still...grosses me out....but then again im a health junkie so i wouldnt know...

Who is forcing you to eat desi oily food ? All Desi food can be made delicious and appetizing without oil . No desi eats , nihari , biryani , haleem everyday . Those foods are meant to be eaten once in a while.
Nobody is forcing me to do anything.......What about desi taxi drivers....they live on fattening desi food from restaurants....Even Daal once u put a tarka on it theres tons of oil in it....we over cook vegetables that all the nutrients get taken out of it....sheesh!
