i dont know if someone already ask this question or not but please can anyone tell me, is it true that oily things like Desi Ghee can make delievery easy? or does it effect on baby’s good health?
someone told me that if someone drink milk with desi ghee it will make the baby healthy and delievery easy.
pray for your easy delivery , recite sura-e-maryam and if you know someone who is going to saudia arab particularly makkah then ask them to bring "mariam ka panja" (if i am spelling it right) for u .
when a woman goes into labour it is to be soaked in water as it opens people say the labour pain eases. my grandmother (dadi) did it for my mom. my mom got it for me but i had a c section so it was never soaked.
sooo bad for you and the baby, has no significance only bad health...terrible
eat light, healthy and regular dont eat ghee/butter stuff, rather use spray olive oil and low fat spreads. Dont eat the desi way in pregnancy, you will be HUGE! I'm eating normal and healthy, my baby is growing good and i still fit into my normal clothes, im nearly 6 months.
u can make it out of oil too sahar.. but i had it made outta ghee to get all the dirty goodness from it :D
and no its just a myth, ure body does not work that way, u could shove a bottle of vaseling up ure ahem and it would not make the baby ocome out any more easily than if u were not to
And how is a weed soaked in water that turns into a leaf supposed to ease the labour pains. Unless it has something to do with aromatherapy, like how some people use lavendar oil.
Anyways, I checked out the book in the link you posted, it has some really silly listed written in it, about us “Muhammadans”
after delivery, the mother remains in confinement for 6 days and if she is in good health on the 6th day she is bathed as long as its Friday or Monday
only close female relatives are allowed to see her during her 6 day confinement
you have to face Makkah when you are delivering
when the baby is born, the mother is told she has given birth to a “one eyed girl in order that the heat engendered by this ill news may force out the after-birth quickly and that the joy of having given birth to a may child may retard it”
So ya…I wouldnt take anything written in there too seriously
