Well curry is probably popular in UK because of the British colonizer, who developed a taste for Indian/sub continent food during the British Raj. And took it with them when they wen back home.
Some gora lik spicy food, but when you order your food they always ask you if you want your food less spicy or the normal bit high spicy.
So if they don’t like Mirchen they will say less spicy.
One at work I was asked to make biryani,I made my Sindhi biryani with lots of red n hari Mirchen no one like it
After that I made pulao which was less spicy and everyone loved it.
Cringe-worthy Bollywood. In West, only desis watch them, but in many third world and Arab countries, even native ladies love the whole song-and-dance-nonsense.
