Why are salwar kameezes sized smaller than normal clothes?? I’ve noticed this… I’m one size around the bust, but all my kameezes have to be 4-6 inches larger…

I love my new salwar kameez and I think I look great in it, but I took this pic and I was like :eek: I AM NOT THAT BIG :bummer: this just bothers me...

i always have problems with my salwar kameez. even when they take the measurements they always turn out to short or tight or have other problems. and my salwar is always to short.

Jackie i always have that problem wit darzis...i think they're really stupid and don't know how to do anything ... sadz yeah i guess ur right, but still...the numbers just make me sad

darzis arent that smart. i told my them to lengthen my shalwar but it seems like they shortened it.

Most darzis take the bust measurement and apply it to the part just underneath the armhole where in actuallity our bust falls atleast 3-4 inches lower than that. that is why the kameez is tight across the bust and folds in an weird manner under the arms. they also make the waist curve too high which makes the entire look off!!!

i hate it when my kameez sticks out from my hips. its so annoying.
n would you really want a darzi measuring you from the bust...

the best thing to do is give them a pair of shalwar kameez that fits really well and tell them to use that for the measurement but then again they some how get the measurements wrong…i’m lucky that my mom and sis both know how to sew shalwar kameez so o have them make my stuff at home…
