does anyone have any suggestions for a band, singer or performer that i could hire for my wedding? we have hired a dj for the mehendi and the wedding, but we wanted some kind of performance during dinner since its a 4-course meal that’s being served at the table (non-desi food). i don’t mind hiring a non-desi band, but ideally, i’d like to have someone either sing bollywood songs, or have a table/sitar player? even a good dance troupe would be considered, but NOT a bhangara team or anything like that considering it’ll be a formal event.
so far i’ve dropped a few messages to Rimi (look her up on you tube), 786, i’m not interested in RDB and the guy from junoon is an option - Salman Ahmed. does anyone have any contacts, or suggestions?

live tabla/sitar is a good idea..but you may want to pick and choose entertainment based on the guests you are inviting..
