It was part of a car (Jaguar) commercial & didn’t quiet go with it so they scraped it rather quickly. I guess their marketing people thought that most rich people who can afford a Jaguar are old, and probably fan of Sting’s rather than being interested in Eminem’s rage. hehe
Anyway, he whines too much in the song & the beat has a awkward rhythm which makes it hard to understand. I like to listen to my songs not hear 'em.
A friend of mine burned this song on a CD & gave me as an Eid gift, thinking I might like it. Ahh, what a waste!!
Ahmadjee, an enraged tind coming your way – see if you can block this. Sting hooked up with Jaguar after the initial failure of this song and that’s when it did get quite popular. Were you not listening to any radio at that time.
Anyhow, it is indeed a great cd, and I like “Perfect Love Gone Wrong” the most. Nice Jazz-Pop mix and that French singer rapping with Sting just makes me wanna be her puppy (there are many canine-related metaphor in this song, highlighted in bold below).
