Jamaver/banarsi is a fabric in which zari(somewhat metallic)/resham threads are woven to make patterns. The fabric in which the patterns are made could be silk,chiffon,kar-un-di or qattan and thus the names silk banarsi,chiffon banarsi and so on. The zari could be in gold,silver,copper or bronze colours whereas the resham could be in many colours. You get Pure ones done on offwhite silk/chiffon which you can get dyed by a good dyer who dyes only the white part keeping the gold/silver/copper pattern retain their colour and shine.
