Descartes' ontological argument of God

I am doing a paper on it for college and i need some views on the subject.

Here are some questions:

Is Descartes’ ontological argument for the existence of God convincing? Can we really have a “clear and distinct” idea of God? What is the difference between a finite and imperfect idea of God and an infinite and perfect idea? Do you find the ontological argument a good and persuasive argument? Are Descartes’ arguments convicing? Why or why not?

Thanks, your help will be highly appreciated
