سیکورٹی فورسز کی کارروائی کے دوران عسکریت پسندوں کی فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں ایک اہلکار بھی ہلاک ہوگیا۔ انسانی جانوں کا اتنا بڑا زیاں انتہائی قابل تشویش ہے ، فوری عدالتی تحقیقات کا حکم دیا جائے
I am not comparing events as death is death, but 26th May 1990 Pukka Qila operation against MQM workers in Hyderabad resulted in about 200 deaths, far greater than Dera Bugti operation.
I am not even mentioning operation cleanup Karachi by General Naseerullah Babar which can be called an anti terrorism operation, though many innocent people died too.
For the records, I am not an mqm supporter, but death of innocent people is a crime regardless of their political affiliations.

How about the 50,000-70,000 Pakistani civilian innocent deaths related to suicide bombings and terror killings, that’s not even beginning to mention the amount of kidnapping, ransom, torture, forced conversions, beatings, and bhatta khori where money is being funneled to N. Waziristan to fund the militant’s campaigns?
Do our hearts go out to those?
What message are we sending to the rest of Pakistanis when we feel sorry for the half a dozen to dozen militants that get killed in each wave of this operation? Especially since this operation is coming how many years after militants have been active in the region and openly done activities like
Taking over mosques and turning them into suicide bomber factories and places to hide weapons and bombs…because that’s what the Prophet (SAW) taught us, right?
Kidnapping foreigners and forcing people to convert, to take on burqas and beards? Because that’s what Islam is all about these days, burqas and beards. (ex. Lal Masjid, kidnappings of Chinese nationals, etc).
Waving guns around Islamabad nearly shutting down the city, demanding “Sharia”? So Prophet Muhammad (SAW) style, I’m sure.
Bombing Churches, temples, sikh temples, buddhist relics from history that for crying out loud no one is praying to, but just a piece of history left for our knowledge.
Random suicide bombings in vegetable markets with bombs hidden in veggie crates. Is that a kardoos? No, it’s boom
A systematic form of bhatta khori with money, stolen cars, stolen cell phones, and what’s worst, stolen lives with ransom kidnappings, being sent to the Afghan border. What message are we sending to honest hard working merchants??
Forcing shutdowns of movie theatres, threatening people if they go watch a movie like “Khuda Ke Liye”, or worse, putting fire to people’s cinema properties in retaliations, threatening musicians to shut down their music, threatening artists.
Forcing villagers to either give up their child for a forced “jihad” that no one agrees with , or pay a hefty fine. WTH, really?

Taking over an entire city and hoisting your damn flag up there to claim land that isn’t yours. (Swat)
Targeting girls schools and trying to kill girls because they want to go to school.
AND WALKING INTO MILITARY/JUDICIAL HEADQUARTERS, KILLING JUDGES LAWYERS, AND STOMPING INTO NAVAL BASES TAKING OUT YOUR DEFENSE FORCE BY INDISCRIMINATE KILLINGS.
They are trying to take over Pakistan. Wake up and smell the reality. You don’t want to live under their barbaric rule. If you did, then why didn’t you move to Afghanistan when Mullah Umer was running the show and thrashing burqa walis in their national stadium?

So the landlords of Baluchistan are just as responsible for the destruction there as is the central government. Everyone has played a role in the problems in Baluchistan. Keep in mind this operation is not against Baluchistan as a whole or even the people / innocent civilians there. Camps have been set up for them, they are being asked to evacuate so they don't get hurt. If the militants are using them as shields, or if they have brainwashed them into joining their ranks, then they have become victims of not the Pakistani government but to the terrorists in the former, and criminals in the latter situation.
I wish we could pull those people out, but the militants have them twisted around their dirty blood tinged pinkies, and we are stuck. Either Pakistanis out of pity and protection of those few Baluchi villagers who are stuck and can't get out being trapped by the militants and let them create havoc all over Pakistan and we watch innocent people keep dying in bombs and being intimidated and terrorized left and right OR we put their movement to an end.
If you want to bring Islam into this, it's every muslims responsibility to protect their religion and deen, and protecting it against militants who are delivering an alternative corrupt image of this deen is everyone's responsibility.
You guys get all up in arms over Ahmadis because they've correupted the tenents of the religion right? So the militants have done the same, except way worse - they're actually causing harm to innocents all over the world with their wacky ideas and passing it off as Islam.
Keep in mind, the extremist views that are being taught in the mountains were an orchestrated faked curriculum created by the CIA propogated in those areas as a false version of Islam to get people to fight the soviets. It's actually NOT Islam. So supporting it, makes us kaafirs, to be honest.

True & that all started with Bhutto. Bhutto created what is today known as Baluchistan. Province should have been kept the way it was instead of creating giant headache that it is today. In fact the whole ethnocentric provincial system that exist today is Bhuttos gift and it is destroying the country & has prevent the concept of nationhood (Pakistan) among people.

I hope we'll see the same kind of outrage that political expediency showed us when bugti was killed in musharraf's time.
NS, being the commander in-chief, should be implicated in murders of these mujahideen just as people demanded for musharraf. I hope hamid mir and geo will launch a campaign to personally hold NS responsible.
I won't hold my breath though. Political expediency reigns supreme in Pakistan. Bloody hypocrites, the whole lot of them.

I second ur words, but diagree on Lal Masjid Issue.. Lal masjid administration Kidnaped Chinese Women cz they were Running Sex Mesage center, where illegal Services were Offered. In our consituation, it is clearly written that, illegal Sex activities are not allowed. I think, Lal masjid Administration should have Come up through a Proper legal channel to stope Chinese from spreading Sex activites in the capital rather than Kidnapping them… Intention was right but method was wrong.

Gadaar bengalies attacked our army soliders, we were there to Protect them, Indian army and Bengali militant groups were involved in gang rape and Massacre and they put blame on Pak army. We were at receiving end... I wonder, why do u guys accept Indian/benalies theories.. And now in baluchistan, Indians are involved, and it is nt a secret, US defence Minister chik Heigal.. Admitted that India is involved in baluchistan... There should be Zero Tolerance for anti State Elements incuding TTP +Baluch terrorist+ Mister London bhi

Not sure if in other operations 31 were killed by army/para-military in one day, but this is definitely bad. aisaa karo, ek saath maar dalo saary ke saary Baluch, koi awaaz uthanay wala hi naa rahay, phir gas phoonktay rahayn gai aaram se, kisi ko paisay denay ki zaroorat bhi nahi paray gee.
