How is a wife supposed to deal with a husband who has the symptoms of clinical depression? Serious advice will be appreciated.
Re: Depression in men
Does he realize he has it? In order for him to get help
he himself needs to admit that medical intervention
is necessary.
See if he is willing to see a doctor.
Re: Depression in men
If it really is clinical depression , he really needs to be evaluated by a medical proffessional. Depending on his condition they will prescribe the best treatment for him.I personally think that treating the root cause of depression is much better then trying to treat it with medicines, but again its an individual choice that the patient and his family has to make.

Clinical...I think means that it is a higher form of it. If it gets to the point of suicidal or for longer stretch of time, or affecting the life in other ways.Major depression!Thats what I think, let me look it up.
