Deportations

Someone posted this story and it came up on my FB feed.

Why 3 Bolingbrook teens tried to join Islamic State - DailyHerald.com

This is all very ridiculous. At this point, I don’t know why those of us in the west do not advocate for deportations. These sorts of crimes should be considered treason and out you go or at least you should be put in jail for sympathizing with terrorists!

I mean you hear of ISIS recruiters on twitter, and on facebook, etc, so if they’re out there and people are clearly following them, then arrest those people that are following!

It surprises me that the Sydney guy from Iran wasn’t put behind bars for all of his former crimes and accusations! He actually had a FB group that had 14,000 followers, I’m reading? Who is sleeping on all this evidence on social media???

Re: Deportations

Just a bunch of bored kids trying to find their purpose in life. Only if school had been a bit more engaging or their parents weren’t so gung-ho about them not fraternizing with non-muslims. The society and their parents failed these youths.

Re: Deportations

This world was going to be so messed up…i had no idea. they raised me in a bubble, and cut my cord after 31 years.

Re: Deportations

Deport where? These are US citizens. The most you can do is charge them with treason.

As for the ISIS recruiters on twitter and facebook.. bet most of them are run by FBI to catch such sympathizers.

There is a balance between individual liberties and security, the irony is these guys use the same liberties availed to them and use it against the country that provides it to them. If that guy did some of the things he did, in Iran, he would be dead long before taking any hostages. But here in the US, we dont prosecute someone for their views; we prosecute them for the actions ( though they can be harassed ). It is one of those ‘your liberty ends where my nose starts’ kinda thing.
