Do your toddlers/preschoolers brush on their own or do you still help? Do you use a mouthwash? Floss?
Re: Dental hygiene in kids
our kid teeth doc says, that u should brush ur kids`theeth till they are about 7. let them brush first, and after u do it... and yes floss, once a week is ok...
Re: Dental hygiene in kids
Make sure you supervise and help with brushing until the child is able to write neatly.
No need for mouthwash if you use a fluoridated toothpaste. You can also get a flouride varnish applied to their teeth by the dentist once or twice a year.
Diet is also very inportant in dental health. Limit the frequency of sugar intake.
