These same people forget to look at their own lives, their own family setups where they are living together in a house but are infact wanting to cut down each other at any given opportunity.

That’s nothing new. Ours is a nation built on hypocrisy. We do all those things that the Holy Prophet pbuh warned us against, lying, backbiting, corruption which is probably a much bigger blasphemy than calling the blasphemy laws a kaala qanoon, but we’re still willing to kill those who call a spade a spade. I’m not an advocate of Salman Taseer’s lifestyle but he did stand up for what’s right, which is more than most people can say.
