But to answer your question through my opinion, you can count the majority of population of the karachi metro area as technically "mohajir." Though ethnic intermarriage among other factors, now makes it impossible to know for sure. Large chunks of "mohajirs" are also available throughout cities of sindh, especially Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mirpur khaas, and other cities in interior sindh. I would say mohajirs are spread out throughout punjab on a smaller level and to a very tiny degree in pakhtoonkwaa and baluchistan (due to smaller economic attractions i'd imagine).

I don’t think ... after our three generations have born and raised in pakistan ...... our regional accents have joined hands to form the great Karachi accent .....
But still ya may pick people on the basis of vocabulary they use ...
