Salam to all and a happy new year
i read through various threads and thus posts of different ppl noting the difference or better the distance in thinking towards one goal/prime cause … namely the betterment of the beloved motherland: PAKISTAN
Me: An Ahmadi (or as some like to call Qadiyani or even Kafir. it’s ur choice) Living in Germany for more than 20 years left Pakistan when 11 years old.
I ask all of u and i hope ppl who reply will restrain from Personal attacks and rather write about the issue raised here.
All i hear on Geo, ARY, AAJ, Jang, Nawa-i-Waqt, etc. etc. and from various Political Parties is the restoration of Democracy in Pakistan.
Now my Questions.
1st: When (any era or Government) there was a democracy in place in Pakistan for which the demands are sheer infinite ???
2nd: Was it a true/pure democracy in it sense or as it’s definition ???
3rd: Since the democracy means the “rule of the people”, what value does a democracy has when after it’s application the product (after the election) does all but abide by it’s very fundamental principle (rule by the people for the people) ???
4th: Why complain when corrupt people elect a corrupt leader and thus the rule itself becomes corrupt ???
Now there r a lot of Pro Musharaf folks around here:
My questions to them:
1st: Has he done enough to win the hearts of the undecided Pakistani ???
2nd: How much of a Leader was he sofar that he could unite ppl behind his ideas to enforce them rather than enforcing by use of Brute Force ???
3rd: How much of a Servent was he, then “a leader of people is a servent of people” ???
Let me at the end tell u one thing (not that i’m the first to know it): As long as ppl of Pakistan will run from one leader to another in hope to see at last the light at the end of the dark runnel of unrest and leave aside the very thing on which basis Qaid-e-Azam fought for this nation, namely equality. No matter what race, colour, religion you belong. You r all same under this flag.
Since this is not the case for a long while wait and see how far this nation will drag itself into chaos until at the edge of selfdestruction, when PPL will call for divine intervention.
