I’m so in love with the Delphi shirts but can never spend over RS. 50,000 on one shirt! Does anyone know of any store or person who can make such shirts? Getting the sequin work on top is not a problem but getting the crochet is. Help please!

Hi Dawn77, if you have any relative living in lahore or karachi ask someone from there. I personally know the woman who owns Delphi and she uses the talent of the unprivileged poor village woman who master the crochet skills. Get hold of someone or ask local "kaam wali's" they would definitely know. I got Delphi pants copied for just 1800! (unstiched) :)

I was wondering do they look as beautiful as they look in pictures here?

I have to make one party black colour saree in chiffon and would delphi one would look better than chiffon and dabka work?

They do look good and crochet work is done for saree, it won't be complete saree but just the palu of about 2.5 yards out of 6-9 yards of saree. Pleats will still be chiffon or silk depending on your fabric choice.

I do have the resource to get replicas done but won't be able to manage it in the budget of PKR 2000 etc. I got only sleeves done for my shirt for PKR 1200 about a year ago.

There is a girl on facebook with page name Enchanted Clothings and she told me she can replicate delphi style clothings. I have not ordered with her yet so no experience yet.

Ok so can you replicate this one? Will it look good in black colour? and roughly for how much price will it be done? I have to wear it on Valima so if you have more ideas to add to design please share?

The original is for PKR 150k. For an exact quote of replica give me sometime and I’ll get back to you on that. In the mean time, if someone else has the resources they can share their pricing in the thread as well so there is a comparison.
