take out the hard drive, look at it .
not ALL "2.5inch" "laptop" hard drives are made equal.. if possible, take it with u when u buy anything.. if on internet, take measurements and compare.. if possible, get the identical drive..
(i speak from many PAINFUL experiences of laptop hard drives where advertised 2.5" drives didn't fit into the VERY precise compartment)
