I’v noticed that at least 10 of my posts have been deleted, I just wanted to say that when they are, I’d like to be notified, and told why they were. Thanks.

Most of the times it's obvious. i.e. fight, swears, indecent pictures etc. Mods delete about 10-15 posts (sometimes different people) on average everyday. If we were to PM each person letting them know why their posts were deleted, we would be spending more time on sending out PMs, rather than moderating.
However, on the other hand, members can contact any of the forum moderators to ask why the posts were deleted, if they are so concerned about it.
