I’m trying to figure out why a post of mine was deleted from this thread: http://www.paklinks.com/gs/pakistan-affairs/430870-dr-shahid-masood-joins-ary-network.html

I’ve asked the question twice in that thread with no response.

the reason why I’m baffled is because I believe there was nothing in my post that deserved deletion. there are other posts still sitting in that thread that used worse language than anything that was in my post. if language is not the issue, then surely it can’t be because daaaktar Shahid Masood is a religious diety that can’t be criticized? in PA, people use all kinds of horrible language and make all sorts of unsubstantiated allegations against all politicians. so, why should daaktar Shahid Masood be considered above criticism?

a response would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

We do not delete any posts. It you're post is missing it means its under review by mods/admin. If post is appropriate for the forum and its not against the forum rules it will be moved back & if not it will stay in review folder.

I've had posts deleted... sorry meant moved to the review folder before... and I didn't bother because I knew I was probably out of line... but this time, I am bothered because my post was not only fine... it made a point that was important to that thread. and it was removed for no reason, imo.

firstly, thanks for replying. appreciate that at least you tried to address my question.

secondly, why should I post it without the text? is it because Shahid Masood can’t be criticized because he is a diety of some sort? or is it because my language was inappropriate?

if it’s the latter, by searching for above 10 minutes, these are some posts I dug up. is it fine to call people bungholes, corrupt lying sons of ****res? or is it okay to abuse Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, PPP leaders, politicians in general, etc but you can’t touch Shahid Masood, etc? anyway, here are some posts that are still still in Pakistan Affairs. I don’t see these posts being edited or being deleted. so, I fail to see my post was removed in the first place and now why I should post the video without saying what I had to say about Shahid Masood.

I should clarify that despite my disagreement with the following posts, I don’t care if they’re edited or not. but if these posts won’t be edited/removed, then I fail to see why my post was edited/removed.

samb, there were other posts removed along with yours from that thread, including posts from members you have qouted.

We do miss many posts with objectionable language thats why we appreciate members reporting the posts.
