Delete Twitter Account?

I noticed twitter feed on my timeline from people i don’t follow, most were spam, which I ignored but lately there are also some indecent tweets or pics. I searched for a way to block this but it google says twitter does not allow you to do so.

Is there any option other than deleting my account or not using it?

Just unfollow them, even if someone is re tweeting stuff. You can always create a new account.

I am getting tweets from those I am not following. I am blocking them but then its a lot, eveytime block 10-15 i open my timeline.

There were no more retweets after that.

So you are saying you aren’t following them but they still show up on yr feed? It’s strange. Are you sure they aren’t the forwarded (retweeted) tweets from one of your contacts?

I also get such tweets and they are not from / are forwarded by Contacts. Though, the frequency is low.

just to follow traffic updates and shehr ke halaat and some of the writers. Don’t tweet on my own.

You can subscribe updates on your phone.

On phone, it becomes irritating. I just subscribed to Karachi updates and they bombarded my inbox with unnecessary news having no relation to Karachi.

Are you looking at your feed via home or activity. The activity tab has so much spammy stuff that we haven’t agreed to see.
