One can argue, how happy really divorced people are?

Is this the only reason why divorce rate high that it is not a taboo?

What are the key reasons for divorce with respect to different cultures and areas?

Well another likely reason why divorce rates are higher is because there is probably a higher rate of infidelity and extramarital affairs due to the society being more sexually open and there not being any reprimand or punishment for adulterers.
