Music is not my gig, boys are totally into it. They both argue a lot about it. When I drove back from BC I Listened to it for 15 hrs as it was loaded in the hard drive of my SUV, Jason and the boys were just talking in the car about murder of Tupac and how he recorded many songs because he knew he was going to get killed and nation of Islam connection and his mother and step father. I think Harris likes Trevor and Safy cant stand him. He says he is a sellout.

Zak was a coach of French Olympic team so I hope he knows what he was talking about, it was about training your cells to work efficiently with low oxygen. hence swimming under water and altitude training.

getting the thread back on track, at the mall while waiting for the kids to come out of the water park I had a really nice chat with daniel, he is in his 40s and a marathon runner and triathlete. he is an electrician by profession and he is very knowledgeable and intelligent and you can have all sorts of conversations with him. Trades is education also, it is learning on the job and more practical education. Some of the most unintelligent people I came across had PHD’s this guy from Ghana I was dealing with has to be the least unintelligent person I know. He had been furiously looking for the best deal in a house for 8 years, dragging his family from showhome to show home. He negotiated very intensely a couple of times and then cancelled and finally after 8 years he decided to buy the home from me and he couldn’t get approved for financing, he shopped for mortgage so many times that his credit score went down and couldn’t pay his bills in time etc, in my eyes he is not educated and the scores of trades people who can handle life properly are way more educated. Even Nehla, Zak’s PHD engineer wife is very low in life skills. Zak ws saying she cant drive and is overly shy.
Financially Daniel was telling me that EPCOR had advertised for an electrician at 57 dollars an hour.

O comeon, are you saying that Bobby1 made a mistake in counting and you are the 9th one? Thats not even remotely possible. So the forum’s worth is still $1, count remains 8 and you are one of them.
As for the other part, O yea completely agreed. The similarity between bobby1 and DT is uncanny. At first I thought bobby1 idolizes trump but i think its other way around. Most likely trump idolizes him.
And I absolutely wish that someday bobby1 becomes the candian supreme leader. Hey why do we only get the embarrassing ruler? Its neighbor’s turn now.

That exactly is the difference between eastern and western thinking, western philosophy is based on cause and effect and eastern upon the divine will. Linear thinking has led them to a point where they will soon have a robot 10,000 times smarter than a human and in around a 100 yrs millions of times smarter. They are talking about downloading human brain on a computer chip and installing enhancing chips in human brains. What about people waiting for divine intervention, where are they heading? Oh and did I talk about in future they are planning for nano crafts to travel on light waves? So is whats happening there God’s will or is a result of our actions?

God’s will. If He wants it to happen , it will happen. Even in the west anyone that believes in God believes God controls all things and has a plan for us and the world. In the east those who don’t believe in God use logic and science to explain and justify what happens. It has nothing to do with the east or the west but in my opinion following any religion and believing in the existence of God. Beliving in destiny doesnot mean you dont tie your camel or do your part,cause and effect is always there but God knew what you would do and then what would happen.
Anyway…I think degrees are important education enhances a person in general while equipping them with survival skills. If you want to do trade because it interests you thats different but to say it takes place of a professional degree and is worth more because you earn more isnt entirely correct. We need doctors and engineers, just like we need plumbers. You dont go to a plumber if your sick and you dont go to a doctor if you have a blocked drain.Each has it place and its own pay. Its really personal choice if earning a certain amount quickly is what matters then chose a path that leads to doing that but we cant say its not worth becoming a cardiologist just because its longer path and you might be 35 when you start practicing. The world wouldn’t run if everyone started thinking about making lots of money,real quick…not that there’s anything wrong in that. To each thier own. But degrees have thier own place and importance,depending on the degree. I would say any professional degree is worth it if it leads to a stable job.

Some of the PHDs I dealt with had very little survival skills. Yes we need doctors and they make great income but what about a general science degree and a degree in arts etc. The smartest guy in our group is a Mechanic by trade and has more life skills than anyone I know. So now they are talking about finding the death DNA in a human body and removing it and being able to live 400 years. If they are able to do that, would that be divine? You don’t need to have degrees to have an education, if you have a good attitude then you learn everyday.
Also the world works on supply and demand and the reason the degree holders are getting paid so little is that there is an oversupply and market sees little value in them.
