I was also wondering the same question.
I'm going to finish High School and recieve my ontario diploma
I was wondering if I could apply to a Uni in the UK, but would I be considered an international student? Does England recognize Canadian education? If so would Canada give me a grant for studying in the UK? I'm Canadian born, if that's relavent.
Also is doctory in the UK only 4 years after high school? Because in Canada it's 8 years :/ and I'm not going to pursue my career as a doctor if there's no other option ><;
I've been researching about this a lot and just can't find any answers! Is there a site that could answer some of these questions; however, I would truly appreciate it if someone could answer them.
yes you are an international student. Welcome to financial rapeville.
Not 4, 6. 5 in uni, and then one year residency to get your full fledged status.
You'd have to kill your SAT's to stand a chance of getting in. UK med school is as competitive as anywhere on Earth. Best bet is to do it in Canada mate.
One of my cousins just did her A Levels and got A, B, D. She got offered a place for medicine by University of Liverpool and some university in London (can’t remember the name).
unis look at everythin b4 they give u a place they want an all rounder type of person. its really hard to get into med school doubt theyl let someone in with them grades u need all A*s at GCSE and A's at Alevel an theyr in subjects such as chemistry, biology
