This is a good news, I hope the rest of the TTP commanders see that their tactics are not serving Islam in any way. Infact the innocent people they are killing will hold all of them accountable on the day of judgement.

so they realized after 8-9 years? I hope this is not a stunt like our politicians do every other day, I truely hope all TTP militants and leaders see the daylight and realize what they are doing to Islam and Pakistan.

PESHAWAR (Agencies) - A Taliban warlord who claims to control hundreds of foot soldiers said Monday he had broken with the militia and would form his own anti-American group along the Afghan border.
Fazal Saeed Haqqani described himself as the leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) faction in the tribal district of Kurram, but said he had run out of patience with the network for killing civilians.
TTP has claimed a series of high-profile attacks in the nearly two months since US troops killed Osama bin Laden.
Hinting at a possible a split in country’s deadliest militant outfit, blamed for more than 4,500 deaths in attacks since July 2007, Saeed said he had decided to form a new organisation - Tehreek-e-Taliban Islami.
“I repeatedly told the leadership council of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan that they should stop suicide attacks against mosques, markets and other civilian targets,” Saeed told AFP by telephone.
**“Islam does not allow killings of innocent civilians in suicide attacks,” he said, likening what TTP does in Pakistan to “what US troops are doing in Afghanistan” and vowing to continue the fight alone against the Americans. **
“I have therefore decided to quit TTP,” Saeed said, claiming to have defected along with “hundreds of supporters.” A 10-member consultative council will meet within days to formulate the group’s programme, he told AFP.
Saeed said he was TTP leader in Kurram, one of seven districts in country’s tribal belt.
He denied that his defection had anything to do with the government, or Pakistani intelligence and security agencies.
“I have no links with them,” Saeed said, adding that he considered America as “our main enemy” and describing attacks on foreign troops in Afghanistan as “justified.”
He said his goal was to enforce Sharia law and Islamic rule in Afghanistan and Pakistan, claiming that he had supporters all over Pakistan.
It’s unclear whether Saeed’s decision to split from the group is related to plans by the army to launch a military offensive soon in Kurram.
Saeed is believed to be a close ally of the Haqqani network, which the US military believes is the most dangerous militant group battling foreign forces in Afghanistan.
TheNation Monitoring adds: Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan is threatening to carry out 10 new terror attacks, which will include targets in the US and Europe, to “avenge” the death of Osama bin Laden, one of the group’s leaders said in a video over the weekend. “Soon you will see attacks against America and NATO countries,” Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) deputy commander Waliur Rehman says in the video. Of the targets in Europe, the group’s priority is attacks in France and the UK, he says. Rehman is seen in the video, which aired on Al-Arabiya, sitting in the wilderness in front of a large sniper rifle while surrounded by fighters. It also shows fighters hiking, though the woods and firing weapons including a high-caliber machine gun.

how about this, civilians do not support US, still being killed by Taliban in name of Islam. Now according to Real Islam and not of yours, killing of Women, Children, Elders, and Unarmed persons is strongly prohibited... and your favorite TTP is hell bound to kill civilians... what kind of Jihad is this, i guess the one ordered by Americans and carried out of by American and Jewish help can order attack on Civilians... because as per Jewish Shariah, it is OK to kill civilians of enemy... Taliban seems to following the Shariah of Jew... and guys like you are supporting them... good going...

There is more to it, for some reason, the target of TTP and Al-Qaida is shifting to Europe, with Olympics being held in London next year, it is necessary to eliminate TTP (all Kinds) asap... otherwise Mukhobhai's taliban are ready to get Pakistan invaded by mad western bull

Sir when Armed Forces were bombing their children how many of these civilians tried to stop the government and Armed Forces answer is almost zero percent because they were enjoying concerts dance parties cricket no body cared about the people being killed in Waziristan so why cry now every action has a equal and opposite reaction now face the reaction sir now this war is more of taking revenge than of Islam
