ok ... i really dont care cuz never fell in love shove and never had a girl that cares for me :( and thats why never celebrated .

But just wanted to know whats the background of this celebration and the islamic standpoint.

i think valentine is just the same kind of a day when both lovers make each other feel special...and show how he/she means to us...they dont have to be a lover . people wish their friends and family member...

alot of couples fight all year long or some people who are always busy for their loved ones but then in days like valentines they get together and spend some quality times..

i dont know about the significance of this day but thats what i think why we celebrate it...

how easy it is for someone to befriend you again?

btw if u ask if its okay to celebrate in the light of islam then i guess u should be celebrating it if u arent married.... cuz then havin a gf or bf would become an issue.. but i guess it has nothing wrong in it... u arent disrespecting ur religion in anyway... as long as u avoid fazool kharchi :)

It's a pagan belief not a Christian holiday like we were told. That's all you need to know.

Valentines Day is for the World and particularly the Ummah to thank and show appreciation towards U.S.A.
