Hmm.
I’ve always identified the definition of SEXY as someone’s overall physicality…face/feautres/curves/body shape. The term is almost exclusively used to define physical/tangible assets of a person, but not always. It can also incorporate a way of walking, wearing certain type of clothes, style of carrying oneself, way of talking, gestures, behaviors, etc.
To me, BEAUTIFUL is a word that goes deeper than physicality alone. It identifies a person’s ‘very’ attractive (‘very’ since just attractive would probably put the person in the “pretty” category as opposed to “beautiful”) (in accordance with society’s collective definition of) facial features/dimensions/color/shape, physical attributes, as well as (equally as important) the way that person thinks, carries himself/herself, the person’s character/personality, etc.
I don’t think a woman calling another woman sexy or beautiful should be taken as being a lesbian! Political correctness aside, plenty of women compliment each other using these terms and I see nothing wrong with that. All it is is appreciation of another human being, nothing more.

Sexy to me is not only about the woman's physical appearance, but has a lot to do with her attitude. A gorgeous woman can be a dork and not be sexy, a semi-pretty girl can have confidence coming out of her ears, that is sexy. Sexy is when the girl KNOWS she's sexy. Also, when I think of the word sexy, the word mischief also comes to mind.

this is exactly how I see sexiness ... it's more of an attitude than someone's appearance.
