i agree with this. there's too much emphasis put on this concept of love, the other stuff like caring, compatibility and respect are a lot more important.

You say it like its a fact. I've seen 60-70 year old couples still loving each other.

You can be in love and do those things! Love is not a western cultural encroachment on us, it's a human emotion.
