Dear brothers and sisters in Islam. Please define what a Muslim is? What are his/her characteristics. What really makes a person Muslim. What does the Holy Quran say about it? What did the Prophet :saw: say about the qualities of a Muslim/momin.

Does a Muslim look and act differently from others?
Is a Muslim supposed to fulfil certain obligations towards Allah and the society, and if yes what are they?

That's why according to a Hadith a Muslim is supposed to verify everything he hears lest he spread false information...You need to verify things before you say it...Stop spreading hatred out of ignorance...

I think pakistanis with the exception of some are very good muslims.
THE SHERT to be muslim is to utter Kalma tayaba like the way non muslims used to convert in our prophet(pbuh) time. It is fixed criteria, no more no less. From that time till date. It is:
la illa ha il lal lah Mohammed un Rasoul illah
Also any one who has EATEQAD on oneness of GOD and Quran being the last book and Prophet mohammed being the last prophet, and follows, and believes in each and every aayat of Quran from inner core of heart, and is ready, willing to please prophet mohammed and in turn GOD all the time. And WAQF his life to make prophet happy and in turn GOD; And does so to his/her full capacity is a kind of muslim to be called very good muslims.
In short:
Those who fulfill the FARAEIZ, and Houqouq allah
And also fullfil the FARAEIZ of HOUQOUQ EBAD
are momins--good quality muslims.
But if some one fulfills houqouq allah, but does not work for houqouk EBAD is not a momin , but he is for sure muslim.
But if some one fulfills hoqouq ebad very perfectly and does not perform houqouq allah well is also not momin , but is a muslim for sure.
Now the question may arise who is better among the last two kinds musalmans???
Those who are careless about houqouq ul ebad has no chance to receive forgiveness from GOD, on the day of judgement, and receving and getting forgiveness from the heart of all those people whose houqouq were neglected or to whom one has harmed through what ever means; is a difficult job to receive, such a forgiveness, from them on the day of judgement.
Or if some one asks forgiveness before he/she dies and seeks forgiveness from inner core of hearts of AWAMUL NAAS if some one hurts them or harms them.It is also very difficult to get such kind oforgiveness from mankind.
Regarding those who were not so good in performing houqouq allah, but have done nothing wrong in the field of hoqouq ebad. There is every possibility that such person asks forgiveness from GOD and he being rahim kareem may forgive face to face on the day of judgement.
So this (last kind) kind of AWAMUL NAAS appear to be better off on the day of judgement. Thanks for reading long, and perhaps a bit irrelevant reply from your point of view. Wasalaam sokoon
