DeffLeppard

Any Deff fans here?

Deff?

I used to be a kinda sorts Def leppard fan. Back in there heydey in the 80's. I still like their music and even went to a concert just in december. too bad those losers dokken and enuff znuff opened for them.

Their last album although failed to make major waves, is probably some of thier best work.

Oh yeah!

I think I agree.

What are your favorite songs from them?

I am still a fan of their older songs

My all time favs are

Photograph
when the walls come tumbling down
Hysteria
All I want is everything

I swear, right now as I sit, Photograph is clinging to my head. I keep singing the rythm.

The other songs like Goodbye and Hysteria are also pretty good. Maybe even, Love and hate collide.

Dude, you rock...

In hard rock..Photograph is among the top songs that I like...sanding on its own among songs by led Zep, Who and Queen..

The sad thing is def is just not "in" any more...so they dont get the airplay they deserve. but anytime I hear photograph on radio it makes my day

I bet ol ricky can bitch slap every backstreet boy with the one hand that he has.

I gotta ell ya, the Leppards have got tonnes of success back in asia. But they just aint hip here. North American people are a tough crowd to satisfy.

All these new bands on the airwaves just dont cut it.

i actually am/was a fan of them. i liked a few of there singles.
from the 80's - ya, i totally like photography, and pour some sugar on me - pretttty old......
and this came out for some schwaneger (sp?) movie soundtrack, "2 steps behind" - i really liked.
and when "love & hate collide."

as well as some more. i'm just waiting for a Greatest hit cd to come out...when is it it gonna come out!?!
anyways, whenever it does...i'll get it.

Glad to be of help. But you will find that DeffLeppard CD's are more expensive than the rest. I got mine Vault for $23 while everything else was going out for 12 bucks...

DeffLeppard? Man I feel so out of place coming to this section and reading the names of musicians and singers that I have never heard of. This is one of them.

Whatever happened to Grateful Dead, Stevie Nicks, Ledd Zaplin, Santana, Doors, Kiss, Stones, ZZ Top, and the guy who sang “Pissing in the River”, and “Bigger the Cushion..”.

Believe it or not, I have a young intern (Harvard BA) he has not heard of Cat Stevens.

I think I should get completely totally stoned and forget about everything. I still remember rolling my Js on the covers of albums. Do you guys do that too? But how can one do that on a CD Cover?

NY dude, this band DeffLeppard has been around since 1975 or some thing. But the thing is that they were'nt given the recognition they deserved. In one of their interviews they said they are the followers of Led Zeplin and all those guys. But since these guys are british, they arent too heavy in the NAmerican side.

Thanks for the education Shpook. Now I feel much better..

Ever heard of Marillion? They are English too.

ya Shpooki it is expensive!!
like...when i got it today (it's so good btw!!) it was like $24 with tax....um..like $20 without it.

NY...Santana sorta came back now....

i made a million selling secret fantasies

NYA,
Kayleigh good song.
Satisfaction only good with the volume on 10.

I'm kinda soul/funk fan.
Do the following names sound familiair to any1 :

Luther Vandross
ZAPP (Roger Troutman)
Rick James
Fatback Band
SOS Band (Jimmy Jam / Terry Lewis)
The Time (Morris Day)
Lilo Thomas
Bootsy Collins
George Clinton

Yes Kohal, I got the new Santana. It is very good, all of it.

Pathwai Yar, I saw them in a concert. They came to our Student Union before they became famous, and I saw their gig for free. I was also the organizer (President Asia Society, at my Uni.) and I met with Fish and had a nice few minutes with him. The guys are phenomenal, and their moozik is super… I like the “Driver Guzzles another pack of Lager…” That’s the only CD I have. Did they ever come up with anything new? Here in NY, no ones knows about them.

Kohal, you got it eh? Well good for you. What do you think about tracks 2, 3, 5, 9, 13 and maybe 11. They're just so good to listen to you know what I mean! Well I hope you enjoy it. Though, blasyt your woofers up to max and listen to track 1. That'll be a treat.

NY, man no idea who this guy Marillion is, though I'm sure he must be good if you're into him!

I'm a genius
Just cant prove it yet...

Marrillion is a great band, too bad their most famous songs kayleigh and sugar mice dont sound like their usual stuff which is far better.

BTW is it not funny that many yanks have no clue that some of the bands that they think are all american are not american to begin with :)

cant tell you how many times I won bets on Led Zep, Who, Pink Floyd and Queen. heh eve heavy stuff, iron maiden and motor head..

Shpooki: :)
