Received a documentary video named “Moving Closer” back from Pakistan, planned to upload in the video gallery, but it is too long, around an hour or more and picture quality is degraded as well in VHS.
Moving Closer is about Urmila Matondkar and director Prahlad Kakar’s visit to Lahore last year. The two joined Pakistani actors Resham and Shamyl Khan and video director Saqib Malik to make a music video for the Fuzon song Deewanay. Featured song has been selected from popular rock group Fuzon’s debut album, which was later especially re-recorded by the band in London.
So the re-recorded Mp3 file is ready to upload and share. Here it is!
Deewanay by Fuzon.

Urmila was invited to perform in a video, which was made to reflect a message of peace and harmony between Pakistan and India. This video, Deewanay, is part of a documentary film, Moving Closer, which is being directed by Dr Farooq Beg. A project of the United Nations Development Programme, it is being executed by Serendip Productions of Islamabad.
Serendip filmed the five-day video shoot to make the documentary, capturing the emotions of the creative cross-border crew and cast. They met at Wagah for the first time and said farewell at the same place five days later. The documentary shows how ties between Pakistan and India could improve if travel across the border was easy.
Lets think for better, till then.
