Re: Deepak Chopra

Full of crap.. the only people that turn towards him are the ones that are turned off by traditional religions yet still want to hold on to some form of spirituality.

Re: Deepak Chopra

I hear his books are good - have not read any. I have head him on TV - he does make sense (to me at least).

His works sound good at face value ... but unfortunately he is to spirituality what Dan Brown is to historical research. They seem to be able to use lures and hooks to captivate their audience and use sensation and catchy titles to win interest.

But for the hardened spiritualists they notice a gaping deficiency in his works ... for example giving regard to the title above:

This recipe has tadbir all over it ... If you want to know what tadbir is you can see a recent thread that I opened in this forum. The essence of spirituality is the ability to become one with ones own fate - which means not to compete against the Decisions God has made for us. So getting frustrated or enraged or even to in a state of despair or become lured or enticed or are not spiritual conditions ... We do not read in spiritual circles how to "fulfil our dreams" - we read how we can understand our dreams to fulfil our Divine purpose. We are not supposed to dream in the sense of desire anything other than desire that what is desired for us by Him.

Re: Deepak Chopra
